... κάποιος να μου το εξηγήσει κι εμένα! Έχω βαρεθεί τη ζωή μου να διαβάζω για το πόσο καινοτομικό, εθιστικό και χρήσιμο είναι (!;!;!;!). Γιατί εγώ δεν μπορώ να δώ τίποτε άλλο πέρα απο ένα πετσοκομμένο facebook;
Pesta Haralabe! I feel the same way about Twitter. I don't get why a normal person would just use that, instead of having a normal blog to bloom their ideas and opinions. Twitter is useful for specific people, e.g. a traveling rock band that sees new things everyday in the places it visits. But for normal people who go from home-work-home every day, I fail to see the importance. Adding links to things online is just kind of futile IMHO. It feels mechanical and heartless.

I am not sure if "writing whatever comes to mind" is a good thing though. People read that shit. Some people have thousands of readers -- and some are taking them seriously. There were a few studies already about Twitter's demoralizing effect.
Personally, I only follow on twitter two small rock bands, who just write what happens to them while on tour. They do fall on quite some adventures usually, so it makes sense to twit from their cellphones. I don't have a twitter account, I just read their pages. But I simply refuse to read normal people's twitter pages that just write "whatever comes to mind", or "look, a cool link". For these people, I prefer to read their blogs.
We had a friend coming in yesterday and he evangelized Twitter to my husband. After that, it was all a matter of time for me to join too. I am still NOT SOLD on it though.
I have never used Twitter. I think. It just didn't happened. Maybe I have an account, maybe not. I don't remember. And I won't have any time soon to be bothered with anyways..

Well, as all the things in this world, twitter can be used for good, or for pure evil >:D
